Chuck Plunkett is a staff writer for The Denver Post charged with covering the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

A journalist for more than 12 years, he has worked for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, his hometown paper, and for The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. He has an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Pittsburgh and a BA in English from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

He loves snowboarding with his wife, and climbing and hiking and running and playing in Colorado's mountains.
