Don't expect to see lines around the block or SWAT team members lending a hand in Denver on Tuesday for the state primary election.

The Denver Elections Division says its new headquarters are prepared to handle the last-minute surge of ballots and overwhelming crowds that have hindered past elections.

"We have a lot more places to put bodies," said Alton Dillard, division spokesman.

UPDATE: Seats for Obama's speech snapped up in a day

Two times more Coloradans have already requested tickets to see Barack Obama at Invesco Field at Mile High than tickets exist, officials have announced.

More than 60,000 requests from Colorado already have been received for the 30,000 seats and the campaign is setting up a waiting list.

"At this point, we're going to file our appeal in the streets of Denver," Recreate '68's Glenn Spagnuolo told 50 people meeting tonight at Lincoln Park in downtown Denver.

Earlier in the day, attorneys for the ACLU said they won't appeal a federal judge's ruling that upheld the security plans during the Democratic National Convention, reports Felisa Cardona.

In a PoliticsWest video after the Lincoln Park meeting, Spagnuolo addressed potential conflict with police and the prospect of defying the court order.

Tent State campers plan nightly trek to DNC

Organizers for Tent State University say they will pack up their tents every night during the Democratic National Convention and walk 3 miles from City Park to the public demonstration zone outside the Pepsi Center, reports Felisa Cardona.

Adam Jung, one of the group's organizers, said Tent State and partner organizations decided they will spend the night in the 50,000-square-foot zone in Lot A of the Pepsi Center because the city won't allow them to camp in the park at night.
