Fox News has been handed responsibility for pool coverage of the Democratic convention in Denver in August '08. Perhaps ironically, the cable outfit that was boycotted by the Democratic candidates for fear of bias will be in charge of feeding coverage of the Democrats' convention to the other networks. Nothing sinister here: The pool rotates among networks and offers basic podium coverage. All the nets will be on hand with exclusive coverage. NBC will handle the pool for the Republican convention the following week in Minneapolis.
