It's been nice watching the far left squirming and name calling (and gratuitously capitalizing!) over a common sense pro-worker Right to Work initiative.
Here is it what is says so there is no confusion: "no person shall, as a condition of employment, be required to be a member" of a labor union "or pay any dues, fees, assessments, or other charges of any kind to a labor union or any charity or other third party in lieu of such payments."
Freedom v. Coercion. Simple. No one need be fooled by all the anger. The thousands of extra words and invective can't explain it away.
As for facts? How little regard does Sirota have for "fact"? He writes that Ryan Frazier is an (R). He made it up, of course, as Aurora council members have no political affiliation. Where did he see this R? And if it was an assumption, a simple Google search or call -- as I made -- would have cleared that up. Too bad we don't have a correction page on the blog. If I'd done the same, even by accident, Colorado Media Matters would have rightly taken me to task. So who does an partisan activist answer to?
