Monnie Nilsson

Monnie Nilsson, producer for PoliticsWest, has worked for The Denver Post since 2002. Before joining PoliticWest, she served for several years as a Post news researcher. Prior to that she served as an intern for the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation's U.S. Library Program, and also worked in the private sector during the dot-com era.

She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Denver.

She has two young sons, and while she enjoys reading, travel, and baseball, she cannot function without substantial amounts of coffee.
