Now it's James Schroeder's turn to talk

She was Denver Congressman Pat Schroeder. He was her spouse. On Tuesday, James Schroeder will share stories about their life together when he speaks to The City Club of Denver about his new book, Confessions of a Political Spouse.

“Jim looks at how men come to terms with today’s evolving gender roles and the challenges and compromises of two-career families in his book,” according a news release about the event.

Schroeder served 24 years in Congress, and was the first woman to serve on the Armed Services Committee.The luncheon begins at 11:45 a.m. and James Schroeder’s presentation begins at 12:15 p.m.
