John Dendahl, New Mexico businessman and 2006 Republican nominee against Gov. Bill Richardson, has been active in Colorado GOP circles since moving here last year.
He says that leaving Santa Fe, where his family heritage dates from the 1870s, was a wrench -- but life in what he calls the "brothel [of] Emperor Bill's realm" had become intolerable for him.
After Richardson stepped off -- or was pushed from -- Obama's slate of Cabinet nominees last weekend, I invited Dendahl to write up his impressions of their 30-year acquaintanceship.
The piece was published today on BackboneAmerica.net, my website. It's not a pretty picture. Here's the link.
Dough for Richardson
"ryecatcher" should get busy with the contribution. Mercifully for New Mexico, Richardson's term-limited and won't be on the ballot in 2010. So just make it a personal gift as he's likely to need it.
John Andrew's brain. Not a pretty picture.
Where did Bonehead come up with this stiff John Dendahl. Caldara probably had something to do with it. He sounds like any other anal retentive Republican you find these days whining about the liberal disaster looming for the country and quacking about their imminent comeback. After reading Dendahl's mostly anecdotal opinionated diatribe on the Bonehead's website I'm ready to wire Bill Richardson a campaign contribution for 2010.
