Schaffer crushes Udall on economics

How can anybody who cares about the economy, which is obviously by far the most important issue of this election, vote for Mark Udall?  Congressman Udall has no understanding of economics, and almost everything he thinks he knows is wrong.  Bob Schaffer has a deep understanding of economics (in part because he, unlike Mark Udall, has worked in the private sector including starting his own company) and is far more qualified to be our next senator, particularly during such difficult economic times.

Watch these 6 minutes from the final debate between Bob Schaffer and Mark Udall and see for yourself:

By the way, take note of Udall saying "the Obama (tax) package is not one which necessarily I support" (huh?) while then talking about "investing" in infrastructure and education and "helping people down the economic scale", essentially the same thing Obama is saying.

Overall, Udall offers nothing but meaningless mumbo-jumbo while Schaffer offers sound policy based on clearly-understood principle.

[Disclosure: I have contributed to Bob Schaffer's election campaign. I have not worked for his campaign nor the campaign of any other candidate nor any political party during this election cycle.]

Schaffer got that one right

I asked Schaffer about that.

He did not remember his comment from 12 years ago.

In Congress, he never brought forward legislation to abolish the Department of Education.

I actually wish he had.

Only Democrats could argue that education is going so well, and our money being spent so well, that in order to improve one of the worst education systems in the modern world we simply need to do what we're doing now, just bigger.

No, you guys only care about building up membership in teachers' unions so you can pilfer their paychecks and elect Democrats who will then let you pilfer more.

There is no doubt in my mind: Our bad public education system is due to government involvement and primarily Democratic policy, but with the substantial additional bad idea of President Bush's "No Child Left Behind" which unfortunately got government deeper into our education system.

Are you kidding me??

Schaffer is awful on economics. He subscribes to the same economic philosphy that you should take care of those at the top and everyone else will have wealth "trickle down."

He has been a long-time advocate of the deregulation policies that have hurt both the American and world markets.

Furthermore, Bob Schaffer does not support public education. This is a man who fought quality education policy on the education committee in the state legislator.

This guy is so bad the Republicans don't even like him!!!!!

Schaffer crushes Udall on Lying

Like when he said he never supported abolishing the Department of Education. Actually... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlYzCFmFBFs
