Remaining Colo. supers endorse Obama

Colorado's three uncommitted superdelegates to the August Democratic National Convention in Denver today came out in support of Sen. Barack Obama, reports Anne Mulkern.

Democratic senators who held back on choosing between Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton now must work to unify the party, Sen. Ken Salazar said today after declaring his support for the Illinois Senator.

Reps. John Salazar and Mark Udall also threw their support behind Sen. Obama today.

Uh-huh

I am a disgusted Democrat.

All those cowards - the "uncommitted" Democratic superdelegates (good manners prevent me from calling them by the name I think they deserve) now rushing aboard the Obama bandwagon in a great big show of "party unity" - make me sick.

The party high mucky-mucks have impeded Hillary Clinton in every way possible to prevent her from getting this nomination in favor of a neophyte with iffy religious and business connections.

I overheard part of a Rush Limbaugh (whom I despise) broadcast two days ago.

His explanation to a Democratic caller regarding the Obama phenomenon, much as I hate to admit it, was right on the money.

Limbaugh told the caller that the DNC knows perfectly well that Obama is inexperienced, under-qualified, untried, quite possibly racist and has a lot of yet-to-be-revealed skeletons in his closet (not to mention his former church and business affiliations that we already know about), but they are pushing him for one reason:

He's not Hillary Clinton.

The only reason I will be voting Democratic in November is to hopefully prevent another right-wing zealot from being appointed to the Supreme Court.

During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.

Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Obama's the one.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I think Hillary voted in favor of the rules governing the DNC nominating process. She voted for the authorization to invade Iraq as did Mr. Kerry who also lost. "Universal deceit"? Please! Sounds more like "sour grapes" to me. Get over it CCLG.
