Udall opens 6-point lead in latest poll
5/21/2008 - 8:12amAfter months of being within striking distance of one another in a variety of national polls, Mark Udall has opened a six-point lead over Bob Schaffer in a new poll released this morning.
In a Rasmussen Reports survey of 500 likely Colorado voters May 19, Udall, the Democratic nominee, drew support of 47 percent of resondents, compared to 41 percent for Republican Schaffer. The poll has a 4.5 percentage point margin of error.
The same survey shows Barack Obama with a six-point edge, 48-42, over John McCain among likely Colorado voters.
