New Mexico on GOP target list

The national chairman of the Republican Party said Tuesday the GOP is targeting New Mexico in the presidential race and is taking sides in one of the state's contested primary campaigns for a congressional seat, reports the Associated Press. In addition, state GOP chairmen from across the country are gathering in the Albuquerque area this week.
